We started this journey with a clear goal set in mind, and that is to educate our communities on the study of currency, as well as, to promote and build generational wealth.
Our Mission
The Alfred Walker Numismatic Association is a non-profit educational organization that was formed to introduce the knowledge of numismatics, which is the study of currencies, along with educational, historical, and scientific lines, as well as, to enhance interest in the minority community.
Our Purpose
We recognize there is a void in financial literacy within the African American community. We believe that our knowledge and dedication to our mission will help to fill that void. AWNA desires to help all people discover, promote and explore the world of currency.
